Been away from this blog for a long time. Today’s post is going to introduce a new subject area: home improvement projects that can increase the appearance (and therefore value) of your home.
As I’ve worked with different clients, I’ve seen a wide range of finishes and quality of work on finishes that often make a huge difference in what buyers think of a house. The good news is that there are things that can be done to make a big difference in your home’s appearance for minimal cost – especially if you’re willing and able to do the work!
The pictures above are of a couple DIY projects my husband and completed recently as we’ve worked to update the basic finishes of the “spec” home we bought. We still have a long list of things we’d still like to get done!
With this area of the blog I’ll highlight home improvement projects for ideas to either enhance the appearance (and value) of a home you’re looking to sell, or (even better) make it more enjoyable to live in while you’re there!
The first one I’ll profile is our latest: Wainscotting in our dining room.
In the next post I’ll provide more details…
