Hello world!

Hi!  My name is Tami Vincent and I’m a longtime (20 years +) resident of East Orlando.  The image on this post is the view from the deck outside our bedroom!  A long way from what most people think of when they think Orlando…

But that’s one of the things that I love about this area.  It’s so much more than theme parks!

As this is my first official post on this site, I’ll provide a brief introduction of myself and my real estate practice.

For most of my time in Orlando, my “career” consisted of being a full time Mom to three kids.  My “kids” are now off on their own, which provided me an opportunity to pursue a lifelong passion.  I’ve always loved homes and interior design and throughout the years have helped friends find and decorate homes, in addition to buying, selling and decorating several homes of our own.

Since “officially” starting in the real estate business over three years ago, I’ve helped clients buy and sell more than $10m in Orlando real estate.

So why do I want to do a blog?

What I like most about real estate is working with people.

I love working with buyers to think through their needs and desires to find a location and home that will be perfect for the next stage of their life.

I love working with sellers to help them optimize the presentation of their home to minimize its time to sale and maximize its sale price.

I describe my real estate practice as “boutique” because I work much more closely with every client than a typical agent does.  It’s time consuming and limits the number of people I can work with at any given time, but I have no desire to change that.

My hope is that through this blog I can share some of the things I’ve learned with a larger group of people than I can work with individually and help more people than I otherwise could.  It also gives me an outlet to spend more time researching and sharing about topics I love!

My plan is to regularly post on topics that will be helpful to Orlando area home buyers and sellers.  I’d love to hear from you if you have feedback on current content or ideas for future posts!
